Lenovo Type C LAPTOP-Q1SIKLCR won't stop pinging when installed

ODD, 4 port 3.1 gen device, when plugged into my new Lenovo it just keeps this bloop bloop -Bloop sound - do you know when to plug in the device? It won't stop the blob blop blop. I actually went to the system settings devices and extracted this new port to stop the bloop bloop sound. Hope that makes sense to people.
