Bought for my mother in a hospital bed. She is in the hospice at our home and she had a very difficult time leaving her 'normal' bed and laying down on a rather ugly hospital bed. This whole process was very difficult and I thought a fun, pretty blanket might help him look a little more attractive. I gave her some plain microfiber towels to match the comforter and she really smiled as we made it for her. She hates heavy blankets because she finds it difficult to pull them apart when she wants to move. It's light and fluffy while still keeping her warm enough that she won't complain.
