Plug 'N Play for Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux 20.04

Update June 30, 2021 I ordered a second such card and installed it on my Linux server. Works flawlessly! Works great with Linux 21.04. It also works with Win10 and the new Win11 Preview Edition. You will not regret buying this card.** Update June 22, 2021 **This card works fine on Ubuntu Linux 21.04 with Linux kernel 5.12.xx. If you are a Linux user looking for a stable and reliable Wi-Fi card, this is the one for you. I've been working with it for over a year now and have gone through several Ubuntu Linux version upgrades and numerous Linux kernel upgrades and everything is fine. I had no problems with this Wi-Fi card. If you are a Linux user, rest assured that this Wi-Fi card works well. Now for my initial review of this card: I bought this card after reading reviews that said it works with Ubuntu Linux 20.04 as that is the desktop I work on. Ubuntu 20.04 w /kernel 5.4.x picked up the card and installed it immediately. There was no need to search the internet for a driver, compile and install it manually. It just worked. For fun, I put in a separate SSD and reinstalled Ubuntu 20.04 to see if the install recognized it. And so it was. When I saw the map, I selected it, entered my WiFi password, and the installation went, as did downloading updates. If you're looking for a blazing fast WiFi card for Ubuntu 20.04, this is what you need. No fuss, no fuss, it just works. I also have a Windows 10 boot disk on this computer, so I booted up Win10 to see if it would automatically pick up the card and it did. There is nothing surprising. Conclusion: Reliable WLAN card for Ubuntu Linux 20.04 and up to kernel 5.4.3. Same with Windows 10. I can buy another one so I have a spare. Update June 3, 2020: I noticed that some browsers report that Bluetooth is working but WiFi is not. The explanation for this is simple: you are installing the card in the wrong slot on the motherboard. Bluetooth is powered from a separate connector (USB) on the motherboard, hence the reviews "Bluetooth works, Wi-Fi doesn't". Before returning a card as "defective", make sure you have installed the card in the correct slot. When in doubt, it should be the slot closest to the processor (on many motherboards). I hope this helps those who bought a card and don't know the difference between "short" and "long" slots on their motherboards. Update 11/06/2020: I had this card for a few weeks to 6 months. So far it works perfectly. I upgraded my Linux kernel to Ubuntu 5.8 and have no problem with this WiFi card. I'm buying another to upgrade to an older AMD FX-8350 build so I can connect it to Linux wirelessly too. I also upgraded my WiFi router to a TP-Link WiFi6 model and the WiFi speeds I'm getting back to my router are lightning fast. I'm taking full advantage of the 300 megabit Comcast internet connection I have. Very happy with this adapter.
