I've used pig mats in my garage for years. I decided to try other options and ordered a box of NPS overflow protection a few weeks ago. We had a big spill yesterday so I got out a new box of NPS spill control to try it out. OH JOKE. It doesn't matter whether the liquid penetrates from above or you place the mat in a puddle of liquid. Doesn't record anything. Pig Mat is on the left of the picture and this useless mess is on the right. I might as well put a piece of plastic bag in a puddle to soak it up. The only reason it has anything on it at all is because I turned it over to see if anything had accumulated on the underside. The liquid just accumulates and is never absorbed. Sometimes when I pick up a pig mat it's completely dry underneath and it looks like it'll never be with them. I don't know what to do with the rest of the big box I bought because they are useless.
