Not what is described on the paper and plastic

Half a glass of oil was probably spilled. Not only did it take a while to sink in, but it went right through after half escaping from the side of the pad. Now I use it to store dirty tools or oil filters until I go for recycling. It is better to use cardboard as a substrate.

Pros
  • Absorbs all liquids
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Do I notice very poor water absorption? My basement is flooded due to water problems. I placed them throughout the basement hoping to pick up water in key places. I couldn't believe it. Did I notice that these pads are waterproof and non-absorbent? I was amazed at the inefficiency of these pads? I had to rip out the bounty paper towels, which worked 10x better. Maybe they handle oil spills better? I haven't used them for this purpose yet.

Pros
  • Durable absorbent pad
Cons
  • Very expensive

I don't know how this useless product got even a good rating

I've used pig mats in my garage for years. I decided to try other options and ordered a box of NPS overflow protection a few weeks ago. We had a big spill yesterday so I got out a new box of NPS spill control to try it out. OH JOKE. It doesn't matter whether the liquid penetrates from above or you place the mat in a puddle of liquid. Doesn't record anything. Pig Mat is on the left of the picture and this useless mess is on the right. I might as well put a piece of plastic bag in a puddle to…

Pros
  • Strong enough for the toughest jobs
Cons
  • So far so good
