Review on DesignCalcs by James Auzenne

I like that this program is very user friendly, it has many features such as auto-calculation of loads/forces etc., which makes my job easier when designing large vessels with complex shapes or configurations (e.g.: vented tanks). It also gives me more confidence in knowing if calculations are accurate since they have been done by an expert engineer who knows what he's doing! The interface could be improved so there would not need to open multiple windows for different parts but rather one window where all information can be seen at once; however, considering its price tag ($80), we cannot complain too much about something minor compared to other programs out there. For those looking into calculating internal forces within their designs using ANSYS CFX - definitely give it try because you won't regret your decision afterwards!!
