The finish of the shoe was very dull and faded. It looked like they were "second rate" or inferior in workmanship. When I opened them I thought they looked weird. I went back to the picture on your site and there was little in common. They looked worn out and never repaired. It looked like they were never finished, so they were indeed a deep amber hue. Their appearance is dull, flat and blurry. Shoes will never be anything but a casual pair. It would be embarrassing to wear them in public, they look so battered. They fit well so I decided to keep them rather than having to deal with a return. It was a very disappointing experience. I have a hard time trusting Revain's ability to deliver the product as presented.
