This torch I would not suggest to any one! First- you can not tell how much fluid is in it. Secondly , but most important there is no flame control that works beyond a hair over the lowest level, that is controllable! It's a great FIRE THROWER. This lighter works well. The flame is even and adjustable. The starter button is easier to depress than a cheap disposable lighter. The metal case is solid and its base is very stable to store it upright. The grip area fits well in the hand. By rotating the starter knob, you can "close" off the fuel so none will leak between uses. Plus it is a nice safety feature to protect from use by little children. This is my first kitchen torch. I bought butane separately, and the torch filled quickly. The torch works safely and as expected, the few times I have used it so far.

Took me a little while to get used to this, but I finally figured it out and it works for air bubbles with paint pouring projects. Light weight and easy to use.

This torch is the roughest toughest torch out of em all. I’ve dropped this thing countless times not that I’m proud but the paint has 1 teeny tiny little scuff other than that it looks fresh out of the box. It’s been through atleast 100 fill ups with butane and this bad boy still runs like a champ. At first I was questioning if this was actually going to work on for a rig but I went ahead and tried her out and oh boy was I glad. This thing will heat up your items quicker than shi$.

I love creme brulee and order it on ever cruise I go on. I missed it last cruise because my husband did not feel well enough to go out to dinner. I decided to try to make my own! I bought this to use on a glass rig with a quartz/glass banger and it works like a charm. I was admittedly scared at first, since it’s a literal torch, but it’s nearly idiotproof. At first I was skeptical about this sort of thing, because sometimes you hear about kitchen tools like this exploding and hurting people, haha! But this torch is just the opposite of that, its got a sturdy handle, it feels like its a professional kitchen tool and it works just as you'd expect! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try a new and unique thing for the home cook and professional chef.

Doesn't have a steady flow of flame. It spurts and I have to be careful. Who knows. maybe mine is defective. I couldn't return it because we were having a covid spike and I felt more comfortable not leaving the house. I'm stuck with it.oh well.

Had it for two months and it was working fine then just stopped the button you push to lite it has been acting up and when you push it no flame just butane comes out.

I bought this to help with heat shrink on my car, and it's been a dream. For such a cheap product, the safety works perfect and I've never had a product with it. I've probably refilled it 10 times or more for various uses, and between my friend and myself, we have 3 of these. Would buy again.Also, I can store hair ties on it!

I’m giving this 5 because it is nicely made and seems very safe to use. I was disappointed that it did not come with butane and it had none in it. We did find some locally, but it was not very convenient.

This is the 2nd one I purchased because I was happy with my first one but after a few months the 'click' button wouldn't 'click' anymore so I had no fire. This 2nd one I purchased, the fire control does not work. I have it at a normal setting, maybe half way point and the fire shoots out WAY TOO MUCH when I click it, even though I put it on the low setting, fire shoots out way too much. Not sure if I just got a bad batch or what but not happy at all with this purchase this 2nd time around.

I purchased this in September and I loved it. It was perfect for working with tumblers. I got two months use out of it and the use was actually rather minimal as I only work on epoxy tumblers as a hobby. However, in November it quit working :(. When I push the button I can hear the butane coming out but there is no click that ignites the butane for the flame. I was pretty bummed out by this.
