I bought these to replace the Joy-Cons that came with my switch and was having thumb issues and I'm glad I did. They are comfortable and work better than the ones that came with the console. They connected with no problems, I just clicked them and the console recognized them so there was no work to set them up. I checked the console's calibration settings to see if they needed to be corrected and they didn't - it was set correctly from the factory, which I appreciate very much. I went out and tested them and was very happy with the results. The buttons were all responsive, the gyroscope worked properly. I've done a few races in Mario Kart using only motion controls and I've won almost all of my races. So if that doesn't tell you they work well, I don't know what will. The only thing that surprised me. Note: They are slightly thicker than the standard Joy-Cons and therefore will not fit the controller adapter that came with the console. It's a bit of a disappointment, but I don't regret the purchase. They work very well in the console and on their own, but do not rely on using this adapter or any other accessory that requires a tight fit. The extra thickness isn't great, but it helps with ergonomics. The original controllers were so small my hands went numb, but they let me play for much longer without getting tired. They are not that heavy but are solid and the build quality is good. I'm glad they also come with additional sliding wrist straps. I definitely recommend buying this. The quality is good, the feeling is perfect and the price is much better than Nintendo.
