I spend a lot of time gaming and it's hard to find a good gaming mouse pad with an integrated wrist rest. I ended up buying one of those full desk mouse pads and took the risk of buying a separate wrist rest. I have to say it's almost perfect. As other reviewers have noted, it's easy to move around if you need to reposition it, but otherwise stays in place even while playing. It has a rubberized finish on the bottom that works great on a mouse pad or mousepad without getting too "sticky" or sticky. It has a nice shape with a curve in the middle to allow your mouse to move. You may need to experiment with positioning to suit your needs and comfort, but I've found that by positioning the mouse a little further away from the palm rest, I can move the mouse fairly easily without restricting my movement feel. I have thin wrists and fairly small hands so your mileage may vary but for me it's really comfortable. The outer fabric is very soft and offers good cushioning. Unlike other palm rests, it is neither too soft nor too hard. It conforms somewhat to the shape of your wrist/hand but is not flimsy. The only downside, in my personal opinion, is the beads. I'm not giving it any stars because I knew it used beads and not gel when I bought it, but by design they do make the palm rest surface a bit uneven. The stitching on the sides looks very solid, but I'm concerned that over time and with frequent use, they can fray and bead bleed. I'm also cautious as someone who likes to keep peripherals and desk clean. While the palm rest can be washed, I'm concerned that doing so will shorten the life of the palm rest a little each time. The gel palm rest is much easier to keep clean. But even considering these issues, I think it's going to take quite a long time. At less than $10, it's a bargain. While it doesn't last as long as other products on the market, it's so cheap and easy to replace that it doesn't have to have superior durability. For my personal situation, this is a great choice. I can play comfortably without having to buy a mouse pad with a built-in wrist rest, and it fits my hand and wrist very well. I think the level of comfort will vary greatly from person to person, but I would recommend it. I've had it for about a week but if anything goes wrong I'll try to update this review.
