First the pros:I love the fleece lining. I know it’s not tough or manly, but that lining is like a super soft blanket wrapped in a tough exterior. I also like the style, to a degree, which leads me to the cons:The picture is a bit misleading, as it looks as if there is more fill in the vest to make it warm. It’s not that puffy, so not likely that warm (with the exception of the lining, which might make up for the lack of fill). Second, and this was the deciding factor for me, this vest is, by design, a woman’s vest. That is, it’s a left side zip, rather than a right side zip (as men’s garments tend to be), so, therefore, the cover flap is also on the left side. I didn’t take notice of this in the photos before I ordered. Also, it’s got a bit more room to grow, or layer, than I like. I’m 6’01, 170, so slim but not skinny. I typically where a Large in vests and jackets, but this felt closer to an XL. I may have kept it if it were a men’s cut, because I almost like it, otherwise.
