I see many people with their pets unbuckled in their vehicles and they just don't realize that in the event of an accident the pet is likely to be thrown out or at least suffered badly because they generally are not reticent. That is why I recommend using such a tourniquet. Some harnesses snap into the harness buckle, which is too restrictive for dogs, and we all know how dogs love to stick their heads out the window. Also, the seat belt buckle may or may not be compatible with your vehicle's seat belt buckle. However, this harness attaches around the headrest posts, making it easier for your pet to move around while still providing a secure anchor point in the event of an accident. The quality is very good, it's easy to use, reliable, gives my dog freedom of movement while still providing a solid anchor point.
