Very metallic and round. Almost like a bullet. I will buy again. When I need more metal balls like items. Seriously, that's what it is. 1" steel balls which I use for monkey fist knots. So they are perfect for my needs.

I washed the bearings, dried them and put them on a towel. The next day before I oiled and mounted them I noticed that some of them were discolored and rusted. I am dissatisfied with the quality of the chrome steel. See my photos of six discolored/rusty and four normal.

They are already invaluable for many projects. I've used them from using them as the core of a 3D printed game ball (which can be used on a pool table) to testing floating tanks for ROVs. The balls were really accurate in measurement. They averaged about 1/10,000 inch larger with 4/10,000 inch being the worst, but for one project this worked perfectly. If I need more I will definitely buy from this seller again.
