Review on 📷 Reolink E1 Pro : Advanced 4MP HD Plug-in Home Security Indoor Camera with Wi-Fi, Motion Alert, Two Way Talk - Perfect Baby Monitor/ Pet Camera by David May

I wasn't too impressed with this camera mainly because I bought it for all the features but they aren't that good. I was skeptical that this camera was 5GHz compatible because all the reviews said it wasn't. I contacted support and they said that was the case, so I tried it and it's actually supported so at least it was good. Also, you can't use the Google Assistant on your phone to look at the cameras like other cameras, you have to be near a Chromecast-enabled TV to do so. I've compiled a list of pros and cons for each area below. { Pros: --- Camera --- ∙ 5GHz ∙ HD picture ∙ Smooth video (tested in front of a TV, had some hiccups) ∙ Overwrites old clips when SD is full-- -App---∙ Fast∙ Modern design---Computer software---∙ No.{ Cons:---Camera---∙ About 3 seconds stream delay∙ White color only∙ Never enable Infrared lighting∙ Power cord falls out easily∙ The siren isn't that loud, the house should be perfectly still to be barely heard unless you're in the same room.∙ Talk-to-talk works 30% of the time∙ Listen-in makes a lot of strange noises noises where there is little to no noise, such as B. Buzzing, hissing, crackling and crickets. ∙ Scenes app that sets certain commands like siren, notifications, recording, etc. has no option to schedule them, so you have to set them manually (big minus for me because I wake up later than everyone else, and only me have access, so if I set the siren to night time, it keeps working until I wake up!) ∙ Camera recording can only be set with a weird selector, not a custom time. -- Computer software -- -∙ Outdated and confusing UI, nothing to do with the app∙ It doesn't seem to use the monitor size∙ It's weird that it can only be used in full screen like it's a game ∙ Slow What the cloud As for, they offer a free plan that saves your videos for a week, which is better than nothing, however the recording doesn't follow the recording settings set in the app as that only seems to affect the SD and not the cloud , so your cloud storage fills up FAST. Finally, I'm not sure if I have a broken camera with a bad speaker/microphone system, but then again, the app/computer software definitely needs improvement to make it more user-friendly.
