Review on Vantec CB-ST00U3 NexStar USB 3.0 to SATA 6Gbps Adapter: Efficient Optical/Storage Connection, Black by Christian Barnes

My third attempt at a USB to SATA converter that would allow me to connect a drive to my laptop. I literally looked at 2 others who promised this would work and they both failed. Meanwhile, this one came in for $20 and when I plugged it in and put in a BluRay disc everything worked like I had a disc drive in my laptop. It was a full size 5.25 inch internal BluRay burner and of course it just worked. Compared to the $50 some companies charge for a full case (if you can actually find one), this one worked just like the previous ones, but I didn't have to unscrew everything to make it work. I am really impressed. Excellent purchase.
