If you want a big screen for your PC and don't need a wide screen, this is the biggest screen you can get these days. I don't use my computer to watch movies (that's what my big screen TV is for), and I don't need it to play games or split the screen in two. I use my computer primarily to surf the Internet, keep my household finances up to date with Quicken, send email, and log into my work computer. I wanted a large screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio so my screen is almost as tall as it is wide. A 20-inch monitor is all you'll find before moving to widescreen-only monitors. I chose Viewsonic because I've owned them before. In fact this purchase replaces a 19" Viewsonic graphics monitor (tube type) that was used as my main PC monitor for about 12 years so was widely available, worked flawlessly and lasted longer than I expected. So far this new Viewsonic graphics series LCD is great. Great color and as I'm using a digital input the screen resolution is nice, crisp and very sharp. The price of $225 was spot on! I highly recommend Viewsonic products!
