Perfect size. I originally bought this for my art supplies, the hinged lid was one less thing to keep track of. However, it's also the perfect size to store and protect my 9 speed kitchen hand mixer and the accessories I now use. I need another to hold my material ends, the tray and dividers have room for thread, needles, etc for quick repairs, and I don't have to take out my large storage bins. It's also great for my baked goods, the dividers keep things organized. By my count, I need three more. This container is very well made, so it not only keeps things in order, but also protects it. There is no downside to getting this.
