I already have Klipsch in-ear headphones so these were an extra pair to work with. I particularly like the Klipsch for the fit and angle of the headphones, as well as the sound quality. These were my first X series headphones. As with all Klipsch headphones, the instrumentation is clear and detailed. The bass is more neutral. So if you like pronounced sub-bass, these headphones might not be for you. I would say that out of the box they also have a little less bass than my S4is. Let's see how they sound after a month of listening. after burning. The controls on the cable work well with iPhones and Macs, and I like the flat cable for a change.
