Neutral clear sound and a good buy

I already have Klipsch in-ear headphones so these were an extra pair to work with. I particularly like the Klipsch for the fit and angle of the headphones, as well as the sound quality. These were my first X series headphones. As with all Klipsch headphones, the instrumentation is clear and detailed. The bass is more neutral. So if you like pronounced sub-bass, these headphones might not be for you. I would say that out of the box they also have a little less bass than my S4is. Let's see how…

Like the smaller size.

I'm a big fan of Klipsch in-ear headphones. They sound good, they're easy to control and they're inexpensive so I don't have to worry about anything. What I didn't always like was the width of the case. These solve this problem. I can easily wear them with ear defenders/headphones with no discomfort. My only complaint is the flat cable. It transmits shirt rubbing noise better than traditional cords. This is a problem I have with all flat cable in-ear headphones and it's not unique to them. not…

Pleasantly surprised.

These headphones replaced my S4i headphones which died after 3 years out of warranty. I got them well below the current price of the S4i and couldn't be happier. I don't need loud bass. I like hearing different instruments in every song. I was struck by the difference in sound between them and the S4i. No, they're not as warm as my $300 cans, but they sound way better than my $30 Bluetooth headphones and S4i. I listen to a decent amount of Prog Rock and the sound was great. Bass is smooth and…

Quality sound at an affordable price.

I love my Klipsch speakers and am very happy with my new Klipsch headphones. Play/pause and volume up/down work with my iPhone 6S plus, and the built-in microphone also works well for phone calls. I usually prefer earbuds made out of a hard material (not silicone), but they fit snugly and don't tend to pop out, nor are they bothersome like the others I've used (usually too tight). The sound is a bit position-sensitive and the bass output is slightly distorted, especially when the alignment is…

Extremely accurate sound reproduction

While some may say they lack bass, warmth and tonal harshness, I think these are probably some of the most accurate headphones out there. Not meant to be your everyday rap headphones that don't sound great, they're designed for exceptionally accurate sound reproduction (they have a flat frequency response, no heavy bass, no mids like Apple's headphones). Personally I've had them for some time now (about a year), I've found them to get a little warm with daily use. The reason I chose them over…

Nice pair of buds for the price!

I've been a Klipsch fan for years and like most brands they don't always achieve perfection but they usually come pretty close. worth the money when you get them on sale. I paid about $75 which was half the retail price and I have no regrets. Like most Klipsch headphones they have a good full sound, not too heavy and about what I like in the mids and highs. Overall a good, fully balanced sound. This is my fifth pair of Klipsch headphones and I have no regrets buying one. Their customer service…

You won't get (or hear) what you paid for

My amazing urBeats headphones went missing last month so I've decided to forgo buying new and buy something new. I chose these based on reviews and after a week of continuous use I found them exceptionally inferior to what I had before. It is clear that the X4i is limited at certain frequencies, which is surprising given the price. Of course, you get crisp high frequencies and what sounds like surface cleanliness. But the bass was so low that some of the mids were distorted, and when some songs
