Very good quality, metal on the back of the lantern. It also comes with an E26 adapter so all I have to do is plug straight into the old socket, it's that easy for me to install. There are 5 color temperature switches on the back of the light: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K, I think I can just pull them out and switch to the temperature I want. The color of this light is so warm, no flicker. That's a great light!
