These headphones are definitely studio quality. The sound that comes out of these little things is very wonderful. The bass hits very hard while the lows, mids and highs are still top notch. The base definitely didn't drown out the sound one iota. The sound is amazing as long as the battery stays strong. I get almost 9 hours on a single charge before the headphones need to be charged. Now keep in mind that I listen to music at a very high level, so that says a lot about the battery and how well it holds a charge. Even phone calls with these little gems are of very good quality. When I call and speak to my wife she says it sounds like I'm talking on a cell phone and she can hear me and only me even in very noisy environments so the mic on them is studio quality. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a studio experience with a crazy amount of base. Recommended for all basic headphones and those who just want headphones with great call quality and a battery that just won't drain at high volume.
