While looking for a good storage solution for my tiny apartment I came across this set of storage cubes. Overall very happy with the purchase, especially for the price, easy to assemble. I found the instruction sheet sandwiched between two squares when I was almost done and didn't even need it. I didn't use a hammer either, but thanks for having it in the kit. The hooks were a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting them but they were perfect for holding some of my hair ties! Also glad it's waterproof! Cons: It's pretty solid and I was able to push it all together after building it, but it's only held together by plastic corners. They can easily come loose if you handle them too roughly. They don't really have a locking mechanism to hold them in place, just a couple of small ridges in the plastic that make the metal bars a bit difficult to get out. Plastic isn't hard. Based on the pictures I thought it should be transparent, rigid pieces of plastic, but it looks more like thick, resilient vinyl that's stretched and folded at the edges where it wraps around the metal. Pretty strong but you will definitely lean a bit when putting heavier items on the shelves.
