Simple to line up and put together. So far it’s done what I need it to do: hold crap. I will say for anyone buying this for tubs, the 36 will not fit 2 standard tubs side by side. It’s a hair too short. You’ll need the 48 to store two on one shelf. Other than that it has met my needs so far. Do be careful when moving the shelf, if you accidentally pull up you could dislocate the shelving. It’s best to set it up where you plan to keep it.

Well they are fine for the price but If you get the split ones where you can do two short shelves they are a bit scary as a single tall unit. The top vertical support just sits on the bottom with only the horizontal pieces to hold them in place, as they span both. This shelving unit is more or less as advertised. Note that the split rail design links at one of the shelves, so it isn't easily separated after construction. A mallet is not strictly necessary for assembly if you are willing to whack the shelves into place with the palm of your hand, but it would probably have come in handy.

I was worried about how tough this would be to set up based on some of the other reviews but I had no problem. Just make sure you have a rubber mallet and you'll be good to go. These shelves feel sturdy but not too heavy that you can't move them around yourself. I bought them to get some of my spare guitar cases off the ground in the basement incase it floods down there and it works perfectly. You can adjust where all of the shelves lay to make the most out of the space.

I bought this with great hopes. Unfortunately they were all dashed. The packages arrived looking okay. However, upon opening I could see (see attached photos) that the parts had scratches, indentations, and overall signs of wear and tear. I thought I had bought a new piece. Putting it together was very difficult, even with the right tools because it was damaged when it arrived. There’s no recourse to fix this. Avoid buying if possible.

This shelving unit exceeded my expectations. I got it to extend my pantry into the garage and it does that perfectly. It was easy for a grandma and eleven-year-old girl to assemble in about 15 minutes using just a rubber mallet to tap everything into place securely. All pieces were there in the box, in fact had a couple extra plastic protectors even. It's partially loaded and I can see it will easily bear the weight I will be putting on it. These are exactly as described. Easy to assemble. Fairly light weight. As a really short woman, I can put this shelf together on my own and move it into place easily. I have the shelves in the basement and garage.

Decent shelving- very pleased with outcome. Particle press board so uncertain how heavy items on shelves can be, but sturdy for now. Also comes with stabilizer to attach to wall - did not use yet but seems useful. Overall fairly easy to put together - did it by myself but and extra hand could have been helpful!

Great shelf to put into a garage and whatnot, store dry goods, etc. Idiot proof assembly. But probably best to keep light-ish, dry goods on it. Saw a steel super heavy duty version at Home Depot a few days later for $20 less and had buyer's remorse.Update - I bought this for $100 and considered maybe getting another that would match the first one, but now it's $140. I do not think this is a $140 shelf by any means.

Extremely easy to put together as long as you have 2 people, and a mallet. Looks really nice in the garage too. Extremely easy to carry with 2 people as well.
