These headphones sound fantastic for $80. They claim 90% noise reduction thanks to noise cancellation and I can say that for such a small device that's amazing! Even at 90% it removed the conversations of people around me and the sounds of working machines. 90% is pretty accurate. You can still hear some noise, but that's a great job. Especially after you are in good shape. The only thing I don't really like is the touch controls to pause and play these headphones. I think a simple button like the Liberty 2 Pro I have is much better. And sonically, they really come close to the Freedom 2 pros. When comparing, I noticed that the Liberty 2 Pro has a cleaner and deeper tone. HOWEVER, I can say I wouldn't miss how great these Life A2 headphones sound for the money! They are cool. If you receive a defective item, Anchor will stand behind it. I hope this helps someone.
