I'm very happy with it although I had to downshift the HDMI signal from 1080p to 720p or the picture would go black intermittently. Note that 1080p worked fine until I installed this audio extractor. My setup is as follows: Wii U to this audio extractor, HDMI to DVI converter, to a legacy computer monitor. It's a small monitor, so 720p still looks fantastic. While this works fine for me, some applications could be compromised. It is possible that this problem occurs only with the combined use of a DVI converter and an audio extractor. Besides the obscure function of removing audio from the HDMI signal, I think the aesthetics and design of the small electronic box are great. Also.
