I got a prescription a few years ago but never wore glasses until presbyopia set in and never got into the habit of wearing glasses to respect. In fact, I find the readers help me read a lot better than the ones I had on the prescription. I never had a pair on hand when I needed them for reading, so now I can put a pair in my purse, kitchen, bedroom, computer desk, etc. As I often just put them down somewhere they scratch quite easily and stretch making them fall on my face like bifocals, I don't have to search to tighten them and there isn't a local optician either so again it's cheaper and less of a hassle to bring out a new pair! Almost like everyday contact lenses, but cheaper than them. And my eyes don't dry out that often. Getting old sucks!
