I like the length of the scissors but they are *so* heavy. My incredibly inattentive husband even noticed how big/heavy they are when he picked them up. The other main problem with these scissors is that the point where the two blades are hinged has quite a large profile. This isn't a problem if you're someone who likes to trace your patterns and then cut them out. However, if like me you often just use pattern weights or pin the pattern, the attachment point of the two blades will stick out so far that it will be impossible to cut your pattern straight.
