Keeping your AirPods in a case won't work for you. Requires AirPods to be removed from their case to fit on the charging dock. It can be annoying after a long day when you just want to plug in your device and go to bed. The Qi charger felt a bit weak from the iPhone 12 Pro. I also had to remove the Qi charger case, but my phone wasn't fully charged after spending the night on the charger. It's important to note that I have cases for iPhone 12 Pro Max and AirPods that support wireless charging, but the product failed to charge any of my devices in either case.
