This gets the job done, but the first time my girlfriend accidentally dropped a combo so she couldn't block it, I fixed it for her by turning each knob individually until it did not close. Then I drop it back onto her combo. This bike lock is only good for people who are serious about what they do. No evidence of idiocy! It's too easy to accidentally drop a combo, so I wouldn't recommend it, especially for kids or stupid adults.
