Dog: GSD / Husky Starting measurements: Neck: 17/18, chest 33/34, body length (collar to base of tail) 28 I was quite skeptical about ordering because of previous reviews for large dogs the clothes never seemed to fit. Well I suspect that since these reviews were written there have been new sizes for larger dogs (as mentioned in some of the answers). I measured my bitch with a tape measure (puff fur makes measuring difficult) Neck: 17/18, chest 33/34, body length (collar to base of tail) 28. I didn't know how she should sit either. but i chose 4XL and to my surprise it fit perfectly! I didn't know if it would be too short on his back or if it would actually close when he put it on, but he walks well and it's never too tight. Highly recommended.
