The angle layout measuring ruler is a little flimsy to where it could break easily if the user is not cautious with how they are handling it. The contour tools are the best out of everything in this pack. Overall, this is not a bad buy considering the price. I definitely recommend people get this if you’re planning a "one and done” floor installation or if you’re starting out with working on people’s homes and plan to lay plenty of floor wood panels, tile, etc.

I bought the yellow angle tool from another manufacturer months ago for over $20. These 3 tools came from revain for just over $20 including tax. I will use both the red and blue angle measurement tools to cut flooring so that it fits tightly under my baseboards. Formerly, I had to trace an outline onto paper and cut it out with scissors - this is far more 21st century than that.

The only reason why I didn’t give it a five star it’s because I haven’t use it as much to give it a honest and reliable review. I worked on two occasions once with plywood and Sheetrock; both times it has been pretty accurate. As for now I’m very please with the product.

My husband is super excited for this purchase. He is putting down a laminate floor for the first time and cutting in the doorways make him nervous. He has already pulled them out and tested on various items in the house. Seems to hold its shape well and the magnets are a bonus so they wont take up space inside his tool box.

The gauges work as advertised. The quality of the gauge seems to be very good. Easy to use and helpful. May not be useful for non-carpentry-related applications.

I purchased this because I'm putting new vinyl flooring in our house and have some unusual profiles to cut. It worked well but was not very exact but good enough to provide a decent template for my cuts. It saved time in figuring out complex angles. I am happy with the product!

Not bad, have not used the ruler thing yet, but the profile guage works good enough to get you close. Helped me double check my measurements and precut drawing.

It's a very strong tool!The only issue that I experienced with my tight application was that since the gauge is thicker than the traditional ones it did not get into a tight space. I reversed the tool and use the other side hoping that the long side of the angled end was going to end up on the other side of my space. So to be more clear the improvement that might be made is this: the long ends of the angled edges should not end up on the same side when you reverse the contour tool. It is true…

Works as described. Locking mechanism on the 5" contour does not work but the product holds shape well enough it does not matter. The other angle holder is cheaply made but still works. Overall pleased with the product

Not the highest quality, but is definitely the best value on amazon. You won't regret buying this if you need it. The bonus features may not be necessary or useful for all users!

in the title it states "locking" . The 5" does lock. The 10" does not. I like thus product. Its a great beginner or homeowners tool. In the future I will be looking for an upgrade.

I have not used it on a project but did test its ability to move to a shape. It stays put until you make it straight again, but it also has a lock that slides to keep it from getting out of shape accidentally.

Have to use a large framing square to make sure your approach is square with the wall or your cut will be off to many oops May not be precise enough for highly detailed work.

This product is a must have if you are a DIY home improvement person. It is very simple to use and makes normally hard to measure shapes a breeze. I love that locks in place make sure you have shape just right and stay that way. Also love the fact it has measurements on the device.This would make a great gift for any hands on person in your life

Would recommend this product to anyone especially carpenters. Makes for easy measuring and precise cuts. Comes with magnets attached to back, locking mechanism to hold your shape in place while you bring it to your work area. This comes as a kit with two different sizes, carpenter pencil and angle measurer.

This thing just wraps around whatever you need and once locked in place you can mark it on the matteral. Wish they'd had these years ago when I first re-did my floors.
