complete crap: travel accessories

This works well if you're just concerned about a little moisture like rain or if you've been somewhere you might get splashes. The reason I got it was because it promised to keep it dry while swimming/snorkeling etc. Well, the seal is total crap. To test it I put it in water, it seems fine. The first time I actually used it was out of the country and on tour, there was a section where we had to swim about 30ft in calm water (so quite a short and non-turbulent dive). Before I swam over I checked and ENSURE the seal was FULLY closed. When I got to the other side I checked it just to make sure there was water in it. It's still sealed. I had nowhere to put it, so it had to be wet until the end of the tour. Getting to where we left off, I checked it for holes, dried it, inflated it with some air and dunked it in the sink. I didn't see an air outlet. I then filled the tub and tried again, finding that a few feet of pressure pushed the air out and broke the seal. I dried it again making sure I had vacuumed and sealed all the air. then I left it submerged in the sink for 5-10 minutes. When I came back there was water in it. so the seal story sucks. I do not understand it. it almost ruined my passport while I was abroad, where we talk about nerve wracking.
