Great upscaling player for $50
I'm surprised at the negative reviews. Once I've properly set this player up for the 37" 1080p LCD TV it's connected to (via HDMI), the picture is great and the player works flawlessly. It's a very basic turntable but it does its job very well in our bedroom and it's great value for the price I paid for it. I can't think of any complaints other than maybe they should output 16:9 by default instead of 4:3 as it's sold as an HDMI player and I think most people who buy it will have a wide screen TV which is the frustration of the People who don't read the instructions could reduce it.
