I recently upgraded my internet service to 1G fiber and needed to run some fixed lines under my house. One to move my wireless router to different wireless devices and the other to hardwire my PC. I bought all my Cat6 cables and connectors from Lowes and even got a surface mount baseboard jack (with screw terminals). My wired 1G connection was only 700MB down and 800MB down. I bought one of these connectors and replaced the screw terminal and now I'm getting 800MB down and 900MB up. I will be purchasing another of these connectors for the other side of the Cat6 cable and expect to see even more improvement in the signal. I am very satisfied with the purchase and the product!
