Review on ViewSonic VX2235WM 22-inch Wide Monitor: Crisp 1680X1050 Resolution on a Wide Screen by Fred Hawk

Firstly, I never paid any money out of pocket for this monitor. I was doing some computer work for a friend and he gifted me this broken monitor in return. When I brought it home and set it up, the monitor was getting power but the screen was completely blank. I decided to open the monitor and see what's inside. Of course he had five defective capacitors. I bought one of those LCD monitor repair kits ($13) and replaced all the capacitors with new ones and it works great. The picture quality is excellent. Setup was very easy and the monitor itself is surprisingly light. Image response is fast and colors are rich and vibrant. The resolution is much better than flat screens of the past. I've been using this monitor for two years now with no problems. I would recommend this monitor.
