Very good, especially for rooms with parquet floors and something on top.

I spent too much time looking through various plastic boxes for hiding cables and finally bought this one. I liked it so much that I bought a second one. He is perfect? No, but it works very well for certain applications. Call it four and a half stars. White with a very realistic looking "wood" tabletop fits well in rooms with hardwood floors and is particularly well-suited for applications that require something on the small side to sit on, such as classrooms. B. a mobile phone. or in my case a remote control receiver for a subwoofer. Cable cutouts are located at the top and bottom, and there is a narrow slot on one edge for routing small cables, e.g. B. those that power mobile phones. That's probably why they tipped the top. So you can easily and securely place your phone on it, connect it with a cable through the narrow slot at the top and charge it. The upper has molded ribs on the inside for support but is quite thin. The whole thing is fairly light, but not so light that it breaks with normal use, even with something small laying on top. The imitation of the wood structure is plastic, but very realistic. Looks great on wooden floors. The main downside is that the fit is pretty loose and the ends are held in place by small plastic ribs that don't do much to keep the pressure of the cables inside the cap from popping out of the cap. The slots are effective, but using the top of the side ones will require you to route the cable through the slot, which may not be possible if the cable is securely attached to both the device and the power supply. This was disappointing as there were a number of wires that I would run through the top slots if the connector went through the slot. I ended up buying several versions of Bluelounge in different colors. Bluelounge CableBox Moonlight Blue - cable management They cost a little more, are about the same size, heavier and stronger, and the covers don't come off accidentally. I don't want to say this product is bad because it isn't. It was the best choice for the application and I would do it again. I have attached a picture to show the end result which was very successful. Sean Logue, 2017
