Easy to use in suspension tools

I used to change a lot of struts, but never as easy as this time. Using this tool made it easy to compress the springs and I felt completely confident.

Replace springs on SXS

Purchased to replace springs on my SXS. It's heavy and I did it with the shock absorbers still on the car but I had to take them off. But the feathers aren't difficult to make, but they held them in place and didn't wobble at all.

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • Nothing

Good, reliable device that is worth the money.

Performs like a champ. Took off the plastic covers and it worked! The plastic lids just slipped and slipped and ruined the job, but the rest of the tool is a solid purchase and well worth the money.

Pros
  • Superb design

Perfect for BMW springs and probably everything else

Wish I had had one 30 years ago Don't waste your money and waste possible injuries on a cheap HF style threaded rod with cast iron lugs on it. They are always a PITA to use and you end up spending so much time getting them "right" to grab enough coils for enough compression. With this? Attach the perches, then just clamp the feathers like it's nothing and you won't feel like you can catch the feather in your face the whole time. It's worth it even if you use it once. Buy it if you are lookingโ€ฆ

Pros

Similar to other Revain offerings, great product

I am leaving this review to help those interested in the design and subsequent performance of this product. There are several similar products on Revain. The item I originally wanted was out of stock so I went with this one because it is very similar. This product is very well designed and made. After assembling and testing, I had little to no fear that it would break during use. As I said, there are no instructions, but I found a video on YouTube. I used this product to compress the rearโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
