I had a children's swing for my grandchildren, but I decided to buy the same ones because they are in the parks. The child loves it and can sit in any direction - it is the same in the front and in the back. It grows with the child - light enough to last up to at least 3 years or so, maybe longer. THEY ARE VERY DURABLE - Baby's big brother and sister like to hang on the bottom of the swing while baby is swinging (big kids lift their feet off the floor) and baby loves it. I'm not worried about the swing breaking - it's strong enough to hold an adult.
