One paddle head seems to be coming loose from the handle, and the rubber seems to hold indentations from the ball. Only adults are using these paddles bought cheap ones for the kids. The balls that came with the set are holding up fine and seem a little lighter than the Mapol pack I also bought.

For the little extra you pay for these over the basic paddles that have the nubs on the face, these provide quite a bit more ball control than the beginner paddles provide and they have enough padding so that you don't crush every return off the table. Had a rather large party just after purchasing these and the table was in full use the entire time. These held up better than expected with very little signs of wear.

Look, the paddle handles are rough and unfinished, but not enough to give me splinters, and for the price, this set is an amazing bargain. The rubber and padding are surprisingly good - gives me the control I'm used to- and the balls work well and feel right. Bought them for our house of 20+ people (it's a communal living situation, don't freak!).These have held up well to wear and tear. They're not the most comfortable rackets - the wood is a bit rough and they're a little heavier than I like but they are sturdy and the rubber hasn't detached. These are good paddles (excellent feel and responsiveness). Originally gave it two stars. Had a problem with the paddles, but customer service was impeccable and very responsive. I'm a happy customer and will buy Stiga products with great confidence.

Decent deal but even with a heavy duty cover on my table the rubber part is still lifting and bubbling from the heat or something. I've only had them 2 months and I can tell they won't last long. The balls all function fine so I rated a 3 instead of a 2.

I never thought that paddles made much of a difference. One of my friends came over who is a regular Ping Pong player and was surprised by how much better these paddles were than the ones he had always used. Further, the set came with "3 star" balls. At first, I did not think that was a big deal until I felt a one star ball and just how easy it was to squish.Great buy. Not saying a less expensive set would not be acceptable but we are happy with our purchase.

Good price on a good set for the casual player. The wife and I have been using these paddles nightly since their purchase. The seem well made with only the tiniest separation of grip pad along a few edges (glues right back down). The quality is very good and the balls were all good quality as well. Pleased with my purchase. Would recommend for beginning ping pong players.

I had a Stiga paddle for personal use many years ago. Being familiar with the name brand, I purchased these as a gift for a friend that was waiting for delivery of his table. Items performed as expected and are now used regularly.

Review for 4 player set. Unlike the STIGA classic set, the performance set is of good quality and gives an excellent ball control and spin. The handle, the rubber and the blade of the performance set is constructed much better over the classic set. The price can be volatile but you will find good deals and these are worth the price. They give a nice comfortable grip in hand and a good edge on the game.

Ordered this set for a little friendly competition on the ping pong table at work. These paddles seem well made and I have no problem spinning the ball. I have not had any of the problems experienced by the other buyers of the 2 and 4 piece Stiga sets. If you are an ultra competitive player this might not be the set for you but I recommend them.

This is a nice set to have for the basic table tennis gang. The "pips in" design is for a slightly more advanced group of players, and the balls are 3 star which is competition quality. Note that serious players will want a better paddle than this, but this is great for recreational use.

This dress is really pretty but is light weight. A light satin material and the label says dry clean. I had to snip a few strings but nothing major. Defiantly a summer dress bcause of material. I bought a 6-12 month for a baby to be born in April.

Good set for the price. I am noticing the rubber facing peeling away from the wood on a couple of the paddles after a few months of use. The peeling could be from my kids though. So they are good paddles, just not kid proof at least.

Purchased this (along with a JOOLA table) for Christmas. A definite step up from the basic paddles that we're all familiar with. The balls were also 3 star quality. My kids and I have played nonstop and have upgraded to better STIGA models, but these are fine for play and great to give company to use, especially at this price point.
