Look, the paddle handles are rough and unfinished, but not enough to give me splinters, and for the price, this set is an amazing bargain. The rubber and padding are surprisingly good - gives me the control I'm used to- and the balls work well and feel right. I have been through four of these. Each one has quit working after about 4 weeks of use. The problem, as shown in the pictures is a faulty connection between the heating element and the circuit board that melts . There is no way to repair it so you will be continually buying a new one. I experienced flickering on my low beam H11 35w HID's and ended up getting 55w H11 6,000k kits with the ballasts and bulbs and went ahead and got a pair of these "anti-flicker" things to prevent any future issues with them flickering. It's been 9 months now since I installed these with my new HID's and have not had any flickering at all! I work in a school and ordered these for my prize box. Students love these small, colorful, squishy animals! I would give them a full 5-star rating, but the individual packaging they come in is very poor. I threw them all into my prize box and within 2 days almost all of them were unwrapped. Let me preface this review with a reminder of the price. You get what you pay for. Still, the product is intended to be a lens saver. They popped off my lens caps by the end of the first day and didn't save any lenses after that. Removing the small paper exposes the adhesive side of the "bud" you must press against your cap to install. The buds don't stick on very well.
