New brushes didn't solve the problem

When my Dremel tool stopped working I checked the manual which recommended replacing the brushes. I've also read online reviews that mentioned several cases of repairing broken Dremel tools simply by replacing the brushes, so I took a chance and ordered new brushes. The new brushes fit perfectly but they failed to restore my dead tool. I have no idea what the actual problem is, but I think my next step is to throw out the dead tool and buy a new tool. I don't know how to properly assess the actual brushes. I'm only giving them 3 because the problem hasn't been solved. Maybe it's unfair, but Revain's return policy is amazing. I would give them 5 stars.
