Nice set for occasional photographers

Great idea and works great. I stuffed a Nikon D3300 with a Tokina 11-16mm wide-angle lens and a Nikkor 50mm prime lens into a backpack, and I had plenty of room. The "top" backpack had enough space for a 2 liter hydration bladder, a pair of socks, a towel, sunscreen, a raincoat and some snacks. Just two problems. 1) When the camera is folded, the adjustment strap sticks out on the left side, so my hand keeps touching it when walking. The nylon strap or something was rough enough to rub me walking 2.5 miles. I'll either have to shorten the strap or secure it somehow to keep it down. 2) The weight of the backpack must be borne by the hips. I would assume this applies to smaller packs, although for lighter loads it probably doesn't matter as much. However, with this backpack, you carry the weight of your pack on your shoulders, not your hips. I had all of the above plus a tripod. Not a heavy load for a day hike, but I'm wondering how it will fare on a longer hike with more food, clothes, and water. Other than that, I'm glad I bought it.
