To start, I’m VERY sensitive to fabric. When a reviewer says something isn’t itchy, that still means itchy to me lol, especially poor quality acrylic and polyester, even some cotton. Don’t get me started on wool, even 1%. Unlike many other sweaters I’ve ordered off Revain, this one is actually soft! I needed to wash it at least once though honestly, but it’s actually comfortable to wear! It’s midweight but drapes nicely. I’m in LA so like a leather jacket over this on chilly nights is enough, but it’s not too hot to wear inside either. I do prefer a roomier fit. Not hugely oversized, just comfortably loose. In saying that, I did get an XL. I’m 6’1”, size 4/6 so I have long arms and the XL is perfect in the sleeves (a rare find!) and really just super comfy. Often necklines bother me as well, but this doesn’t feel constrictive at all. I’ve washed it on warm/cold, gentle cycle then air dried but finished off on low heat in the dryer to keep it soft and loose. It doesn’t seem to have shrunk and I’ve probably worn the first one about 15 times? I first got the sort of rust color, which I love, and just received black and white. It’s a really great basic staple sweater.
