The seller provided a service and offered a refund! This adapter does exactly what it is supposed to do. That's why I gave it three stars, as it's an adapter that doesn't sacrifice functionality in headsets and onboard systems. However, the quality of the components and the design are not up to date. I've been working with it for barely 40 hours and it's already causing noise in ICS and radio transmissions. There does seem to be interference from time to time and if the wires aren't perfectly straight and have some kind of kink, it will cause cracking and poor sounding on the aircraft intercom and radio transmissions. I'm not impressed with the quality. I fear the worst could happen and it would stop altogether and while unlikely, in aviation itself such a possibility is unnerving.
