Sounds like a good fan when it works. There is a problem with either the controller or the receiver and I have emailed support over a week ago with the relevant information and the troubleshooting I have done regarding the manual and still have not received a response . There's no noticeable difference in build quality between the fans I bought locally at Lowe's or Home Depot, but I was hoping that the extra $300 would bring responsive customer service, but so far that hasn't been the case. To update. A few weeks later the part finally arrived and the fan works great. Extremely quiet. The app works fine. The fan itself is 4 stars (the blades are plastic but works fine), the support is 2 stars because I finally got the part. So I split the difference and give 3 stars.
