I wasn't sure how this bag would work or why but got it right away. The arrangement of the pockets, the contents are so well distributed that I feel like I'm hardly carrying a bag. Be sure to take full advantage of the pockets. Otherwise you can use another bag. The shoulder bag is the most comfortable, but I wear it crossbody and it's still great. The leather is incredibly soft (no break-in period) and the red goes great with my purple coat and all. It will stand like the picture; It also stays in place when laid on its side without falling off. It is very well made, right down to the zippers (covered in red leather). I wouldn't change a thing about this bag. I bought a very small one and it fits snugly in the contents of my Coach hobo bag (circa 1980's).
