My wife loves it! Took me about an hour and a half to assemble. Directions we're just pictures but were simple to understand. It's MDF and hardwood construction. Actually had extra screws if you lost one. First time I've EVER seen a company do that! I did use my cordless drill to speed up assembly because there are allot of screws and some are 3½ inches long. Buttons are well attached. I intentionally bought this a little bigger at the time so baby girl would be able to wear it longer, and that's worked out well. So I took it out of its protective plastic wrap, dropped it into the chair base and mounted the chair upon it. Works perfectly! Except that removing the old one from the base was a royal.pain, but that was solved by a heavily-muscled guy at the local tire shop. Love this top, but I am normally a large, and I ordered it in an xl "just in case”. It is a little bigger than I expected and could’ve pulled off the large with no problem. So I would say it’s true to size and go ahead and order the size you normally wear. It’s fine and will not stop me from wearing it anyway. I also ordered this in green.
