I was very pleased with this product. IT'S REAL WOOD! Most of these types of products are made up of pieces of particle board and fall apart after a while. This piece is a very nice, heavy, real wood product. It was easy to assemble, even by myself with no assistance at all. Although it did take some time to assemble due to the number of parts, it went together very easily. I am extremely happy with this product and am confident I will be enjoying having it in my kitchen for many years to come.

This was much easier to assemble than I expected. Many reviews made it sound like a huge chore. It still took a couple hours. Fire me the only challenge was leveling the cabinet doors so the closed correctly. I had never messed with cabinet hinges before. Once I figured it out on the first set, the second set was quick and easy. A couple steps it's handy to have a second person. Mostly this can be assembled solo. This is fairly good quality! I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely not high end but this island has made my life in the kitchen a whole lot easier lately, and less frustrating because I have had limited counter space. I was worried my small kitchen would be crowded with this island but I pulled the extra leaf up (which is a fabulous addition, btw) and have left it up. I would’ve given it a higher rating if it had bumpers for the doors which are loud when they close or plugs for the half-inch holes left visible we painted this cabinet to match our kitchen I am in process of installing knobs and handles to match also. The instructions do not have a written word ,pictures only , go to hardware store And get bumpers and buy1/2 inch wooden plugs to fill the 12 holes quite visible on this $500 cabinet.

My wife loves it! Took me about an hour and a half to assemble. Directions we're just pictures but were simple to understand. It's MDF and hardwood construction. Actually had extra screws if you lost one. First time I've EVER seen a company do that! I did use my cordless drill to speed up assembly because there are allot of screws and some are 3½ inches long. Matches my hutch perfectly. The bottom shelf is very thin and can’t hold much weight. Other than that, it is amazing The storage drawers may not be as deep as needed for larger utensils.

Once I got past step 1.assembly was pretty easy! It holds all of the small appliances I bought it to hold! It is a replacement for my kitchen table! Adjustable shelves would’ve been nice.I had to redrill holes for the shelf holders to raise the shelf to get my Kitchen Aid mixer to fit!

The size was just right for where we are using it. Like the fact that we can more to other location in kitchen as needed. Did not like the way the drawers were made. They do not slide in and out very easily. The doors close very loudly if you do not hold them. I wish the handle on the door were longer with two screw holes so we could put different hardware on them. Over all the unit is very nice.

This is complex. The paper towel holder makes no sense, we don't use the knife or seasoning holder, the leaf is amazing, the storage is amazing, the drawers do fly out bc there are no stoppers. The instructions could have been a bit more detailed and simpler. It is really a 2 person job. You have to pay close attention to the steps and look at the pictures. The grooves have to line up so the back flat pieces can slide in. It would have been nice if they would have marked the long piece in the back to show exactly where the center is, though using a tape measure does the trick also. I like this island because it holds a lot of storage space and doesn’t take too much floor space. However, one of the cabinet doors has 2 drill holes when there should be one in the middle for the handle. Other holes drilled for the cabinet door hinges were drilled incorrectly where I wasn’t fully able to attach the door to the island. And there weren’t enough of the screws to attach all the cabinet doors. For the price, I expected a little more.

This was purchased to increase storage capacity in our kitchen which it fits the bill. Assembly drawings have exploded views of multiple assembly steps so study the drawings for the orientation and the mounting holes. All hardware holes are pre-drilled/piloted and mate together accurately. The only negative all the screws for the multiple hinges are too short, had some pull loose during assembly so I replaced them with larger and longer screws,

It is wide enough for pots and lids. The drawers have been strong and it rolls easy to move around depending on company. That's my feedback.

Easy to assemble once we did some hardware switching. The screws and bolts were metric and very soft, they stripped out before we got the sides on. So we swapped for wood screws and it went together fairly easy after that. Beautiful once assembled.

The island is absolutely beautiful, great instructions, lots of storage, but the wood top had areas that looks like someone tried to sand out deep marks in the wood and didn't smooth it out. We just covered it up with a cutting board, because we didn't want to take it apart and send it back. It seems to me that if the foldout shelf is used, the island may tip over.I was so upset during assembly, that I left the room and my wife finished it.

I love the size and storage capacity of this island for my small kitchen. The assembly instructions are about as clear as mud! It took both me and my husband putting our heads together to figure it out. Really after you get through the first step it goes easily. The first step it is hard to tell the top from the bottom. I strongly suggest that you use a drill with bits. Buy a set of allen wrench bits and philip screw bits. It comes with an allen wrench, but not a screwdriver which you will need. But a drill will save you so much time and wear and tear on your wrist and fingers. I can not image doing all that by hand with an allen wrench and screw driver.
