I recently had a CPAP machine and got used to sleeping on my side/back instead of sleeping on my stomach. I was looking for a good back pillow that would not cause a stiff neck even in the morning. I recently got an Intellabed (Purple's big brother) and was curious if those Purple Pillows are any good. When I sleep on my back the dosage is pretty good. Not as good as I hoped for the money they cost compared to normal pillows but good. I imagined it crushing under the back of my head while still supporting my neck. And it's a little dosed, but not as much as you think. But still better than a conventional sleeping pillow. Sleeping on your side is a different story now. If you think you can use this pillow and sleep on your side, think again. I folded it in half, rolled it up and put my hand under it. They call it. This pillow is NOT available for anything other than your back. That being said, Purple has other more expensive adjustable thickness pads, and they could be better, but I don't want to spend money to find out. So my search for the perfect pillow continues.
