I'll put it that way. Excellent technical support from the manufacturer. NO screw element for a car with an ls2 engine. My GTO needed a 2008 GMC 6.0L starter motor to fit properly. I hope my headlines are clear, but after spending the extra $200 on this starter, it fit like a glove. Overall well done. Glad the car is back on the road.
